University Recreation invites you to take a look at our outdoor tennis complex. We are located on 5th Avenue East, across the parking lot from the Student Recreation Center. We have 12 lighted tennis courts open 6 a.m. – 11 p.m. daily. The courts were built in 2003 and feature a Plexipave® asphalt hard court playing service.

The courts serve as the practice facility for the UAB men's and women's tennis teams. Beginning with the 2009 spring season, the women's tennis team moved a portion of its home matches back to campus for the first time in several years.

The University of Alabama Tennis Stadium. Alabama tennis student-athletes have the privilege of playing in one of the finest facilities in the country as the Alabama Tennis Stadium was one of nine winners of the 25th Annual USTA Facility Awards Program. The outdoor complex, built in 2004, features 12 hard courts with overhead seating for 2,000 spectators that faces all courts.
